Julia Chacon Flamenco Theater presents “Flamenco Intimo” at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts every Saturday October-November, 2018. Featuring a rotating cast of world-class artists, every show will be unique. Performers include award-winning guitarist Misael Barraza-Diaz who has received accolades in Spain, Finland, Mexico and the USA; pianist Ioannis Goudelis, who has opened for Stevie Wonder and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live; Olivia Rojas, who sings for flamenco companies throughout the country; and guitarist/percussionist Kristofer Hill who has performed with flamenco organizations throughout the USA, Seville, Spain and accompanied Twyla Tharp and others.
Dancer Julia Chacon and singer, José Cortes join guitarist and producer, Jake Mossman, at the Ramada Palms Hotel in Las Cruces, NM. The monthly series features flamenco artists from throughout the region. This is the fourth installation of the series. Visit www.lascrucesmusic.com for tickets.

Friday, August 18, 2017 at 8pm Julia Chacón and her company, Inspiración Flamenca take center stage at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Joined by internationally award winning guitarist, Misael Barraza, the company presents fresh choreography along with signature works. The show will also feature male soloists Martin Gaxiola and Carlos Montufar along with four female dancers.
El Panzón y Frieda
Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 9-11pm, Julia Chacón joins Carlos Montufar at the grand opening of the newest flamenco venue in Arizona, Panzón y Frieda. An eclectic blend of Spanish and Latin flavors, Panzón y Frieda offers a delightful menu with gorgeous surroundings centered around an interior mural of the famous Mexican artist, Frieda Kahlo. Flamenco occurs every Thursday with a rotating cast directed by Carlos Montufar.
